The 2023 Square Dance Cruise

We are pleased to be able to offer you the opportunity to see a mix of old and new, in beautiful Northern Spain and Western France, stopping to explore 4 coastal towns, whilst enjoying the first class entertainment and splendor on this modern cruise ship AND Square Dance at the 8 sessions we also have planned for you.

All the fun will once again take place on the modern MSC Virtuosa Cruise Ship, shown here, which is one of MSC's newest ships having been launched in 2019 (and is the same ship we cruised on in 2022). This magnificent ship has 18 decks and 2,451 cabins, the majority of which have balconies, as well as many leisure facilities and restaurants.

As we said, during the cruise you will visit 4 ports as follows:

• 15th October: departing from Southampton at 8pm.
• 16th Oct: day at sea.
• 17th Oct: La Rochelle, France (with its Medieval Castles and architecture), arriving at 7am and leaving at 6pm
• 18th Oct: Bilbao, Spain (home of the Guggenheim Museum), arriving at 8am and leaving at 5pm
• 19th Oct: La Coruna, Spain (with a mix of old and new architecture), arriving at 9am and leaving at 6pm
• 20th Oct: day at sea
• 21st Oct: Cherbourg, France (with opportunites to visit D-day landing beaches, etc.), arriving at 7am and leaving at 7pm
• 22nd Oct: arriving in Southampton at 7am

Please note that this is the published itinerary for this crusie, though MSC reserve the right to modify it as they see fit. To add to the normal Cruise ship entertainment, Kevin Lovell will be calling a mixture of Plus and A1, with the odd A2 tip thrown in, at 8 private Square Dance sessions...
The sessions are being scheduled so as to minimise the impact on your enjoyment of the cruise itself. On days at sea (the first and penultimate day of the cruise), there will be two sessions: one late morning (probably 10am to 12:30pm) and another in the afternoon (probably 3pm to 5pm) - this will allow each of you to have a leisurely breakfast, dance before enjoying your lunch, dance again in the afternoon, and finishing early enough to get ready to enjoy your evening meal and show and whatever else you opt to do each evening.

On days where we visit ports, we will only be having the afternoon session allowing time to visit the ports and go on excursions yet still dance and enjoying your evening on board.
All 8 of these sessions will be available to you for a £50 per person charge which will be collected along with the balance of the cruise cost in the middle of July, 2023. (Non-dancers are also welcome to come along though they will need to pay a £25pp admin charge).

Each en-suite cabin, be it an Interior Cabin, a Sea View Cabin, or a Balcony Cabin will be booked under their Fantastica Experience package with more than a £200 discount on the standard prices per cabin giving a per person price of:

One of the benefits of our being on the MSC Vitruosa is that we can also offer SINGLE CABINS.
These attract a single person supplement of 20%. You should be aware, however, that availability of these is far more limited and so need to be reserved well in advance of the cruise.

We would also like to draw your attention to the fact that the overall size of our group is being limited and so, given the popularity of our 2022 cruise, where we had 55 people, we may not be able to accommodate everyone at our special rate - so please book your place early to ensure that you can join our group.

Regardless of which cabin you choose, with the Fantastica benefits package you will get:

• One of their better positioned, comfortable en-suite cabins
• All of your meals included
• Their 'Easy Drinks Package' which gives you alcoholic drinks, house wines, virgin cocktails, sodas, juices and soft drinks, and classic hot drinks, in fact nearly everything up to €6 bar value. More details of this are available here
• Entry to the nightly West End Style Theatre shows
• Access to the sports facilities, pool and gym
• The option of room service (though there would be a surcharge for it's use)
• One free professional photo

If you would like to join us on this Cruise Adventure, we will need you to complete a booking form which can be found here.
The completed form must then be sent to us... Our preference is that you scan or take a photo of it and email it to us at info@allsquare.uk If this is not possible please contact us at the same email address or on 07796695575 to get our home address so that you can mail it to us instead.

We will also require a £100 per person deposit. As this must be passed on to the cruise line to secure the cabin and then retained even when a booking is cancelled, this deposit is non-refundable (unless the cruise is cancelled). We hope you understand.
Details of the bank account to which you should send the deposit may be on your booking form, if you picked one up at an event, or you can again request it from us by contacting us. Again, if you are not able to do a bank transfer please contact us for our home address so that you can mail a cheque to us.

The cruise balance and dance fee will need to be paid to us by the middle of July 2023.
Up to this time, should you wish to cancel, all monies you have given us, except for the initial £100pp non-refundable deposit, will be returned to you.
After the end of July, MSC's standard cancellation policy will apply:
    - Up to the end of August: 25% of total paid
    - Up to the 14th September: 40% of total paid
    - Up to the 23rd September: 60% of total paid
    - Up to the 8th October: 80% of total paid
